Hard Push Hard Body

I go from folding laundry in the basement with my wife, to a text coming in that just says "Hardbody is #1 contender".
Good lord.
I will always consider myself the contributor that is the most biased when it comes to wrestling and what I personally care for. I usually jump onto a wrestler that I like with both feet forward while openly and relentlessly rooting for them as if I was unaware I was watching fake fighting. Recently, Jinder Mahal (aka. Sweet Body Jinder/Hard Body Mahal) became the train I jumped on. And why wouldn't I? He has clearly made people take notice of his even more impressive physique than his previous run with WWE. And even with a short tag-team run with Rusev that didn't work (It was weird. Not sure why it was weird, just that it was), he is still constantly getting time on TV. When WrestleMania came around and the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal began, with most of the big superstar names expected in matches later in the card, your forced to get behind someone while watching with your friends.
Most everyone's money was on Strowman or Big Show, so I obviously went "Hard Body" Mahal for the win.
Although he technically finished in second to Mojo Rawley, Jinder also got his "WrestleMania moment", even if it was Gronk assisted. Fast forward just two weeks and this guy is in the ring with Finn Bálor, knocking him out (apparently) with a stiff forearm. Still lost but bared nothing. He then immediately gets shipped to SmackDown the next day where he loses to Mojo in what is basically another Gronk assisted "job".
You would think after that maybe the push would slow down at least a tad bit? Not the case. Once again without fail, the WWE went ahead and booked something I selfishly wanted, and I wasn't even watching. I was folding laundry.
There are things in the wrestling world that we as fans greatly forget that are the cornerstone of what makes it great. The element of surprise is still the number one weapon used to get the wrestling world talking. No one can know what this push is going to bring, but let is be known that Buchanan was on board the "Jinder Train" before it was cool. I knew that this guy was ready for a push. And I don't wanna say I told ya so, but just like with Ryback, and Goldberg winning the Universal Championship, and Tye Dillinger coming out at #10 in this years Royal Rumble,... I told ya so.
